How to marry Lydia? : V

I have heard since the patch you can marry her but when I talk to her with my amulet on I do not get the option, must I travel with her for a while to earn her trust or some other quest? I have all Dlc installed with patch 1.8 on Xbox 360. thnx for any advice.

I believe you will have start a new character or load a save before you get her.

I have started a new charachter and all dlc and pathches are re-installed with a clear cache?

You must buy Breezehome (the house in Whiterun).

Thnx for advice, ill try Breezehome if that does not work then I guess its a bug.

This bug is fixed by version 1.5.24 of the Official Skyrim Patch, I play Skyrim on the xbox and I am able to marry her.
