How massive will throat of the world be? : V - Skyrim

What we aren't aware of tho is that this 7000 stair staircase is composed of stairs only 1 inch high each. Which would make the mountain only about 584 feet or about 178 meters tall.

It won't be 7000 steps. That means making Skyrim true-to-lore size. That would make Skyrim roughly the size of Norway. In game size, that is unbearably massive.

Lets just say this, think of Dive Rock in Oblivion and add another 3 to 5 X in height for Throat Of the Mountain. Red Mountain is taller at 15 miles which is twice the height of Mt. Everest. So Throat being a +50,000 Foot Mountain is certainly possible. Meaning it's probably going to be a (Censored) to Climb.

I'm pretty sure that this will be like the Imperial City as you'll be able to see it from virtually anywhere in the province.

It'll be taller then Red Mountain because the Engine will make it look bigger then it should be. I can't wait to see it, and reach the village at the top of the mountain. The view from the top will be breathtaking, hell maybe I'll see White Gold Tower if I'm lucky.

I bow before your hopping skills. I do. I was frustrated just getting onto roofs.

lol! i did it too! All you do is autosave/wait an hour after every few paintbrush.

(I'm not sure if thats what he did though)

Actually, if you press B (for xbox 360 obviously) right after you press back to wait it cancels it but still autosaves. I used that all the time as a console version of the quicksave feature the PC version has. But yes, It took a lot of autosaving, curse words, and two hours of my life to make it to the top just so I could create a save then jump off. Totally worth it. :thumbsup:

I hope they don't disappoint, but I doubt they will, seeing as it is the home of the Greybeards - they have to make sure it's impressive.

That was just the strip, when you think of New Vegas , you gotta think Freeside, Westside, The Thorn, Airport(NCR base), etc.

But yes the strip was a bit lacking.
