How massive will throat of the world be? : V

Wasn't Red Mountain supposed to be bigger?

Regardless, I hope it's huge. Big enough that reaching the top is an undertaking. Hopefully the trip will be dangerous, perhaps a quest to reach the top and bring back some rare alchemical ingredient or something.

I wouldn't mind some Udyrfrykt creature in it. The Udyrfrykt and Uderfrykt Matron are both taken...maybe the Patron...or perhaps just nothing. I don't know. Some kind of abominable snow creature. Perhaps something like the Rieklings from Bloodmoon.

I think Bethesda's technology and engine att the time Morrowind was made couldn't handle a huuuuge mountain, but yeah red mountain and throat of the world is the biggest mountains in Tamriel. I too hope there are unique monsters and creatures high up in the mountain, only high lvl characters should be able to climb the whole thing and survive, atleast thats my thought. Mount everest is not a place everybody can climb

I think the entire island is considered a mountain/volcano and therefor the biggest since it rises from below sea level. Red mountain is actually just a peak.

Well, considering I had the patience to get on top of white gold tower using those infernal paint brushes... I'll most likely end up doing it just to satisfy my own curiosity.

I figure if they have the world's biggest mountain it will figure into the main quest. I hope that your character's level keeps you off it until the time is right. Not in a 'you must be level 45 to climb this mountain' but in a way where you get attacked by level 45 monsters when you try to climb it so your level 2 iron swording battlemage gets his ass handed to him if he tries too early to go up.

But it should take some real 'give'ertude' to get up it.
