A lot of people think that miraaks sword is horrible. i think its one of the best one handed swords there is, the best enchantment for a melee player is the absorb stamina, and miraaks sword is a daedric rating. and the stamina enchant isnt that OP.plus the sword has an epic skin and visual effect. how is it not the best sword? without breaking the game

Honestly, I think Windshear is still the best one handed sword in the game. Too OP if you ask me!

i think it has the highest base damage, and it looks hella gross...in a good way. Plus with the absorb fatigue enchant you can do infinite power attacks. Personally its one of my favorite uniques

windshear is an OP one handed weapon, every normal chop staggers enemies. and i know someone could make a dragonbone sword (legendary) and have enchants for one handed. i think that miraaks sword is a nice reward for completing that quest line

To me it's just a trophy.

the nordic carved sword is just too beautiful for anything else to even come close, the rating doesn't matter to me so much

It's probably the enchantment.

The fact that it's enchanted, or doesn't have a different enchantment, is probably what keeps it from being a great sword.

Yeah, looks cool, has great base damage... but you can't enchant it to deal even MORE damage, now can you? Most fans consider either weapons with great enchantments, or a high base damage weapon that they enchant themselves as "best."

Its a good sword but ugly as sin and does not fit general play in my opinion. Also Chillrend + Windshear is a muuuuch stronger set up.

I like the tentacle effects (especially when you slash with it) but the enchantment is kind of to me. For such a unique and 'evil' sword, it doesn't really have such a unique, sinister enchantment. But, it is the most powerful one handed sword in the game due to its base damage, so it's fine I guess. I like to use my Daedric and Dragonbone swords more though.

My problem with Miraak's sword is that I just can't find any armour that it doesn't clash with, even Miraak's armour has it standing out in a weird way.

It probably is one of the best swords for stats, but I guess I like style over sense with my weapon choice.

It's my single unanimously favorite weapon for a plethora of reasons. Aside from having the highest damage of any one-handed sword in the game...
