Hello everyone,

I've got a quick question. I want to create flames spells for all mage levels (apprentice, adept, etc). I don't only want increased damage, but also an extended range. I read basic flames have a reach of 36 ft. I wanna slightly increase that with the improved spells - so yes, I want to create a few spells that do the same, but become more powerful. Just because I like to use spraying spells like flames, however they're just weak when your magic skill improves.

The problem is that range is greyed out in my creation kit. I mean I just duplicate the spell for flames and then I edit the magnitude etc. But I cant change the range, how come? When I look up the magic effect, there's no option for the range... so how can this be done??
