spoke w/ his widow christina morales and have found his corpse. i took all his stuff, inlcuding his dogtags, and spoke to the ncr troops across the tracks. no dialogue options acknowledged that i had his dogtags, so i am assuming i physically have to bring the body to the troops. if so, how do i do this? i don't see any options to pick up a body. thanks.

You don't know how to actually pick up stuff? I know on the PC version it's the Z key.

If on the xbox or ps3 then press the right anologue stick while the cursor is on his body and you "pick it up". (Actually you become a Psyker and pick it up with your mind through telekinesis.)

Then you move it to the near NCR out post and they will say "Oh thank you bla bla bla... you are just so awesome." Not really like that, but they will thank you.

so you must return the body to complete it?

The instruction about picking up the body flashes on the screen when you find it. The body goes to the two NCR troops at the barricade nw of where you found it and the dogtags will go to a Quartermaster...you'll find which one as you progress so save them.

use your mind power but dont let the bos see or theyll capture you and find the techology your using to do this
