I've always been something of a physical wimp, despite being an avid exerciser during many of my younger years. That time is too long ago to accurately recall now, but to the best of my knowledge, at the peak of my physical prowess during my twenties, when I ran daily and lifted weights ever other day, I pressed no more than circa 160lbs, likely in multiple sets of ten. By my 30s I believe I was down to circa 120lbs and eventually no more than around 90lbs. At that point it was obvious I was never gonna be a macho lifter so stopped being concerned over amounts and just lifted whatever I could for overall health benefits. Up until late 2008 I would sometimes press 'very' light weights (no more than, say, 30lb) in multiple sets of ten, again for overall health only. Since then a series of ongoing health issues has kept me from doing much exercise at all beyond a 25min 'brisk' walk when I'm up to it.

Haven't benched press in well over a decade due to my back injury, but right out of the military I could do 275 for 10, though that was absolutely maxing out. Usually went with 240-250 for multiple reps.

Bench press is a poor choice of measuring how much weight one can lift. Try dead lifting.

They're in pounds.. divide by 2.2 for kilos.

I never benched over 115 kilos (roughly 250pnds) during my best, which is awhile ago. Now I'd be lucky if I can even bench a bench...

I don't do pushups; I'm bench pressing the Earth.

not much probably (almost through my back out last week trying to move a printer at the office).. I was never much into sports that required "strength", I was always into more of endurance based stuff (ran track for a bit in high school).. i'll admit though, I have sort of "let my self go" since highschool, I probably wouldn't be able to run a fraction of what i used to. only exercise i really get these days are hiking out to my favorite fishing spot :P

I also let my self go since I graduated highschool 19 years ago. Damn.. 19 years? Time sure flies by. But anyway, in HS I was into power lifting so I could dead lift 260 ibs.
