How much Karma loss comes from nuking _______?

Post » Sat Oct 01, 2011 6:45 am

Whether I nuke the NCR, Legion or both, how much karma do I lose?
(Using the Reputation levels, not numbers.)

Because I wanna nuke the NCR for the sweet armor, so what rep would I need beforehand so I can nuke them and not have aggressive behavior from them?

So like...If I had "Liked" rep, what would that go down to after nuking them?

Or, as a second option; After I nuke them, can I still do missions for them to get my rep back up?

Are you that dense ? Your topic name is a spoiler. You got a special subforum to post spoilers.

Everything in this sub-forum is a spoiler to somebody. So you think we should just remove this entire sub-forum?

Nuking NCR bombs your reputation with them.
Nuking the Legion bombs your reputation with them.

You get the maximum negative rep possible combined with however much positive rep you have. If you had neutral karma, you'd go to Vilified. If you had Idolized, you'd go to Wild Child.

I think NCR gets aggressive if you have more negative rep than positive, so you might need Idolized rep before they'd leave you alone. Not sure. Knowing NCR though, they NEVER quite get the hint, so they'd probably leave you alone as long as you have even Accepted or Liked status on the positive rep scale.

As for missions, some yes, some no. Boyd and Hsu in particular want positive rep. Everyone else though, I think you could just get their quests anyways, OR you could just wear an NCR disguise.

Whatever, looks like you did it on purpose and you're just trolling now. Good job.

Actually its a legitimate question. You're the one who had to get whiny because he doesnt realize this subforum will obviously be filled with spoilers of some kind.

People in the non spoiler forum dont even try to hide the spoilers while people in the spoiler forum hide them in the extreme.

Guys, there's bombs and nukes going off in the friggin' trailer. Right over NCR and Legion territory. Doesn't take a genius to figure out you can do it in Lonesome Road and it's not like Obsidian tried to keep it a secret.

Get off his back.

Moved to the Spoilers section.

If it contains a spoiler, it belongs in the Spoilers section. I think that's fairly cut-and-dry. Generally, if it deals with a specific plot-point or event in the game, that's where it should go. (Especially if your topic title itself deals with a very specific plot point. ;) )

General Discussion is for dealing with... more generalized discussion. What do you think of the DLC, overall - stuff like that.

Carry on.

(And next time - don't ask inside a thread for a mod to move it. The quickest way to get a response is through the Report function. I've never come across a "mods please move this" post before I was in the thread with the intention of doing so already...)
