How much respect do you hold for Crytek?

Post » Sat Jun 25, 2011 5:55 am

Over the last 3-4 months, everyone on these forums has held some opinion on Crytek as a company. I'm just curious at this point to see how many people still respect Crytek as a developer. I, for one, have chosen option 2 for low respect.

I have often bashed the game, and it still infuriates me a lot. I play it because it is the best possible choice, in my opinion, for fast action game play. I like Halo, but it's still slower, and the CoD series is just dull. Crysis' offer of vertical mobility blows CoD out of the water as a choice...

Anyway, just curious to see how everyone else feels about the company. I've left it open so that you may change your answers depending... Who knows, maybe Crytek will give us console owners a hand out to turn the tide of trust.

I picked number 2 as well. It's hard to have respect for a company that either can't, or is unwilling to fix things like the film grain filter glitch.

I first put mild, then I though they don't deserve it.

Highly respect.
I love Crysis 2, it's the best FPS game I have ever seen and/or played. Many people has problems with it, but tough ****. If the problems were that bad, then why would they still be playing it? Not saying they shouldn't fix the bugs, they should definitely. But jeez, people should stop trolling about it all the frickin time. I have personally never had a bug that ruined my game experience in any way.

Many people do have problems with the game, and if that bothers you then that's tough ****. This is the place to go to express ones' disappointments with the game, so deal with it. Fact of the matter is, as much as the game is good, there is much to be disappointed about.

It's a fact that many are disappointed with the game, as am I. That's not an opinion. It is my opinion that there is much to be disappointed about. However, that opinion is based on my experience and the countless threads from others expressing their disappointment. Cheers.
