I get between 4 and 6 a night and I do not nap throughout the day. I function perfectly fine on this amount of sleep though I do tend to yawn and space off if I get bored.

2-4 hours a night, and it's not un-common for me to only get an hours worth of sleep in a night. This has been going on for nearly 8 years now.

I have a very unhealthy sleep schedule. I usually stay up until around 2AM, then wake up on days I have classes at 8AM. Other days I sleep in until whenever I wake up.

5 hours. Time spent sleeping more than needed is time wasted.

Overall average: 6-7 hours.
At least once a week:zero.
The night after the no-sleep night:8-9 hours.

Except for the no-sleep nights, doesn't matter what time I fall asleep, I'll typically wake up after those 6-7 hours, so there's no point in "going to bed early" to get more sleep since I'll just wake up earlier. Which is occasionally frustrating...also seem to be having more and more periods of 'wake up' insomnia as I age (wake up after a few hours, can't go back to sleep). :/

Believe it or not I usually manage to get good sleep. About 2200 to 0500, so 7 hours total during the week. That's when I don't have midnight watch.

Or when my roommate doesn't turn into a complete bamboozling knuckle-dragging Neanderthal idiot and play World of Warcraft until 2400 with damn metal music so loud I can hear it across the room through his earphones. He says he has a "superstition" that he has to stay up until midnight whenever he has a test the next day. I swear if murder wasn't illegal...

It's okay though. I own the internet. Let's see how he likes it when my router automatically cuts connection at 2200 every night.

Usually six hours of sleep unless am not feeling well in which case i go for 7 to 8 til i stock up on Omega E fish oil pills which are great for keeping away the flu. Slacked off this year and ended up with a stubborn flu for three weeks.

Usually, between 4 and 6 hours on a weekday. 10+ on weekends though. I used to take powernaps during the week to get an extra hour or two of sleep, but it usually ends up with me lying awake that night and not being able to sleep for a while, losing that hour anyway.

A couple of odd sleep-related facts:
The day Super Bowl was on I stayed up close to 30 hours since it was aired throughout the nighttime here, and ended up sleeping 15 hours, which I believe is a personal best. Didn't think about turning the alarm on, so I woke up just as school started. Ended up being almost an hour late, but well rested for once.
I think the latest I've ever woken up is 7:30 PM. It was on a Saturday, obviously, but I don't think I had stayed up much longer than 4 or 5 AM the night before, oddly enough.

Week Days. 7-7.5 hours. Weekends. Go to sleep whenever, wake up whenever. Usually end up falling asleep at around 12:30, unless I'm with friends. Wake up at bout 10 or 11

Sleep was dreadful when I had my full leg cast, I'd take me about 3 hours of laying in my bed to just fall asleep, due to how hot my leg got and ho uncomfortable it was since i usually sleep in a semi-curled position on my side. Then wake up throughout the night to reposition or give my leg some air. It was horrible

I tend to get as much as I need. I go to sleep some time after midnight and wake up some time before noon.
