How much you pay for Fallout 4?

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 9:52 am

Well maybe that works in your country with those fake comments, but not in mine.

I'm able to see:

- each person who has bought something from that user

- what they have bought (if auction is not older than 1 month)

- what comment they have wrote

- i'm able to enter those persons profiles and check what other things they buy, sell, what time, what price, their ratings etc.

So i don't think a scammer would create thousand of fake accounts and make them active and buy diapers on them and other things

Piracy doesnt work that way, and what you described is in essence a form of piracy. Because you cannot proof lost sale.

If 100 people go along with that "pay 1$" thing, you cannot know that they would've paid full price if that 1$-thing wasnt available. Same with piracy, if someone pirates a game they won't sudenly descide to buy it if it wasn't available for piracy. More often than not they'd either skip it entirely or wait for a discount. Either way, full price sale loss cannot be proven.

Also i paid 40euros for mine. Screw Steam and their $ = Euro nonsense. Saved 20euro's this way.

Not how it works. You download the game yes, but if you attempt to play a shared game in offline mode, it won't. It checks to see if you own that game, you don't, so therefore the next step is to check if the person who shared it with you is still giving permission, obviously it can't because you are offline, therefore you can't play.

It's more likely that the game has been shared, then people are then sharing a crack to remove the Steam checks. Which brings us back to the piracy angle. What you've probably done is drawn attention to something that Valve will now pick up on and quite a few people may be about to see their accounts go bye-bye.

Relying on them never logging into their account and kicking you out...or them selling this "deal" to another 50 people who also kick you out each time they log on.

Personally, I'd report the site to Steam, not Bethesda. Since it's claiming to abuse Steam's service.

PS4: Paid £50 for game, plus £25 for season pass. Roughly $115 total.

In a few years time when I have a PC capable of playing it, I'll probably buy it on Steam too.
Done the whole console and later PC purchase for Oblivion, FO3, NV and Skyrim just to play around with mods. Although, if the mods transfer to PS4 maybe I won't have to do it this time

$46 from Green Man Gaming.

Then I saw the Pipboy Edition was available on the Beth Store again but kept missing my opportunity for two days. On the third day I scored one for $131 PC.

So, in total I paid around $177. I'm OK with that.

I'm sure I'll end up paying $90 ... $60 for the game and $30 for the season pass.

I've contemplated some of those other sites offering discounts, but I'd prefer to go through Steam rather than give payment information to yet another third party vender.

$60 is all I'll pay (haven't yet) and I imagine it will be the STEAM edition since no physical copy interest me. Not going to bother getting the guide since the hardback Skyrim guide is just gathering dust and wasn't useful at all. When the DLC comes out ... assuming I get it that may run another $40. Not going to bother with the Pass as I just can't see buying something when you have no idea what it could be. But overall I imagine I'll spend about $100. If I get 1,500+ hours out of it like I did Skyrim it will be money well spent. Just hope the voiced PC and other changes don't screw over re-play value.

$60 directly from Beth and another $30 when I buy the Season Pass. Probably would've easily paid $100 for the base game if that was the price considering the amount of time I plan to spend on this =)
