How much "You" is in your character?

Post » Wed Apr 10, 2013 2:08 am

Gonna start a new character that reflects my personality, morals, priorities, etc. And I'm kindof the "do-gooder" type IRL, and focus on the "bigger picture" issues without getting too involved with interpersonal disputes, or city/hold politics. Which basically means no Thieves Guild because stealing victimizes the innocent, no Dark Brotherhood for the same reason. No Civil War because it's pointless, definitely join the Mage's College. No deadric quests except for Meridia and maybe a few others, maybe. Priority 1 will be stomping out the vampires, even though Alduin and the dragons are a higher threat, the vamps attack much more frequently and within city walls that the dragons don't seem to. Gonna play a Breton specializing in stealth, archery, illusion, and restoration. Gonna recruit Faendal. Probably won't do much smithing or alc but will pursue enchanting. Will most likely make my home in Whiterun or Riften.

And also a bit of a "do-gooder" in real life, but my character is a powerhungry, ruthless, and evil person.

I get irritated by playing characters that do stuff that I wouldn't do myself o.o
My morals get dragged in the game with me, My main character is definitely a reflection of me, other characters, I have to Force to be different.

Aside from the fact that shes female, its 100 percent me. Id be a mage, id help people, id love to study the arcane, Id support the empire, because the Stormcloaks are ignorant to magic, and I am quite fit. :twirl:

If my characters acted like me they would just sit in a tavern all day eating cheese and sweetrolls.
