I completed the murder quest, but the option to buy the house still doesn't show up from jorleif. Any help would be great.

I think you need to be a Stormcloak, which svcks because it's such a nice house and Ulfric is such a doofus. Joining the Imperial Legion and destroying the rebellion might work, too, but I'm not sure.
