Probably 3 or 4 times a year, or when I find a new one I really like. Usually mine are puppies, kitties or butterflies. I am always in search of the perfect avatar.

I have had mine for over 9 years and apart from changing it to .gif format early on it has stayed the same. It has even moved to the new .net forums although got a lot smaller.

I think I've only had two or three profile pics. I'm going back to my infamous one on the new forums. The ordinator is too small over there.

Including my "Christmas avatar" I've had, I believe 3 different avatars in my time here.

I rarely change it anywhere. Unless forced to. Like on the new forums. (The current one looked like poop so I used a different one!)

As for changing my avy - never! Ulysses and I are tight! I won't send him back into the Divide!!

I'll switch mine out every now and then depending on how I feel about my current avatar, so far I'm liking my Motoko Kusanagi avatar.

That was the reason I changed mine this time. My little puppy avatar looked awful on the new forum, so I changed it to the same one here.

You can recognize me by my avatar across websites and time I change it so little, but I do change it every few years if I find something better. Although, now I'm skilled at drawing I think I should probably make my own.
