It's all his fault. He bought Oblivion when it came out, and got *me* playing it, then I got interested in Morrowind. Now we'll be fighting over who gets to play Skyrim first. To add insult to injury, he bought Fallout 3 when it came out, then Fallout New Vegas, then *I* got hooked on New Vegas. All his fault, I tell you.
My birthday is in June, and I'm turning 30 this year. My first TES game was Morrowind back in 2003. I played the Xbox version for many years before switching to the PC version in spring 2009. I bought Oblivion in the summer of 2006 but my computer at the time couldn't run it so I had to wait until December 2008 when I got a new computer to play it. It's a great game and I enjoy it, but Morrowind is most defiantly the superior of the two.
49 -- and been playing computer games since the early 80's when they were all text based (actually still have working 5.25 inch floppy disks of several games I played back then that I still play occasionally on my old 8088 based PC with its built in 8" monochrome display and maxed out with 512KB of system memory and 20 MB HDD !!)
I'll be 15 on the 6th July. I've been playing TES games since I was... 8 I think, back with Morrowind. I only recently, one year ago, started playing games like Daggerfall and Arena.
20! 19 right now in college. Was in 8th grade when Oblivion came out. First TES game I played with my new Xbox 360. I lost that semester and summer even some of 9th grade to that game great memories. <3 Bethesda!
Yeah it's an old http://www.vintage-computer.com/images/panasonicsrparner.jpg suitcase luggable that I paid $2195 for back in 1982 or 83 and has never had anything break on it except one of the floppy drives. -- it's fun to load up and play some really old infocom text based adventure games like the Zork trilogy, Police Quest or Deadline or the old Pacman - Dig dug - Robotron 2084 games every once in awhile !
I'll be 33. Got interested in Elder Scrolls watching a friend play Daggerfall, but he wouldn't let me play. Soon after that Morrowind was announced so I got that on release day. Oh boy was it exactly the game I had been waiting for! You can literally live in it and do anything, plus the mods. For Oblivion and the Fallouts same thing. Fun times!
