How old is your character?

When you go to wait you can see the date stamp. My main character is in the year 2081.

I think I'm in the year 2279 with my main character. That still seems really young, and realistically, I don't see how a 21 year old could map the entire Wasteland in just two years without any real experience and take over the United States government. Therefore, I pretend that he's a little bit older to make his journey seem longer and more epic, and so it seems like I've been with my companions for longer, which makes them seem like close friends.

I always pretended my guy was at least 21 years old. No matter what year I'm in, cause my dude actually looks that old. And after I exit Vault 101, a few months after I get out I give my character a beard.

I like to play using 'Sims time' that is, I ignore the date stamp and decide for myself how old I am. XD Shi is... gah how old does the game make it? nineteen or twenty at the end of all the memory sequences? So I stick to that but I like to imagine the hour I spend in megaton is more like a month.

Yeah, I do that, too. Well, I leave the vault with a small one and let it grow into a fully fledged beard as the time goes on. Heck, if you give the LW gray Combover hair with a long beard they look about 60...

The year is 2279 for my current character which makes her 21 but the concept of the character in my mind is about 10 years older.

I use an alternate start mod, which makes the game start 3 years before the Lone Wanderer leaves the vault.I imagine she's about her 30'ies.

You're meant to be about 20 by the time you finish the game. But in my RP my character is 25.

I am using a mod that by default sets timescale to 5 (that is, 5 real seconds = 1 Fallout 3 second. Default Fallout 3 timescale is 30). That's why my years rarely change from 2277. It's not so immerse considering how much our characters do (how can one kill thousands of people and creatures in mere months, and remain sane?) but I never got around changing all those gameplay aspects related to timescale.

A what?

I don't class them as quests, it's hardly an objective to go down some stairs.

A thing in Assassin's Creed. Lets you relive your ancestor's memory or something.

About 20 right now.

How? The game starts at 2277.

Anyway, I haven't played one character that much. I have one save with 34 hours played, she -might- be at the next year, and thus 20. Not fully sure, though.

On my old computer my guy was probably about ~2280, maybe a little below that.
