How do I open vault on phone instead of tablet

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 9:49 am

I have a vault iv'e been playing on my galaxy tablet which i have 150 dwellers & purchased lunchboxes as well as mr handy's but now my game crashes 10 seconds after loading it, not even allowing me to start a new vault ( not that I even want to ). What i'd like to know is if there's any way to load my same vault on my galaxy 5s instead. Any advise would be appreciated.

You have to move the save over to the device. You'll likely need to hook both devices up to a computer to move the files.

The save is in something like

Android/com.bethesda.falloutshelter/files

the vault1.sav, vault2.sav, vault3.sav files need to be moved to the same place on the other device once fallout shelter is installed on it.

Bear in mind tho, that if you're gonna play on both devices, both will have different outcomes... it's like a multidimensional fork in the road for your vault... :D

I tried playing on my phone and I can't even select the 2 dwellers in the tutorial let alone the full blown game. If anyone can play this easily on their phone they must have tiny fingers.

Well it makes other parts look bigger... MY ARMS you dirty minded hooligan :D

Also, to be able to select dwellers in the tutorial, you need to click the "OK" button on the tutorial-card thing first...

I know what you have to do... I got through the tutorial on my phone but it took a lot of frustration. I can't manipulate those little people very well at all. Playing with a mouse on Bluestacks on my PC is about a thousand times easier :)

When the game is on if you click on the keyboard icon (then the pencil) you can assign "hotkeys" to functions. I use "x" and "z" for zooming in and out. Gotta tap zoom out a few times more then usual during raider attacks but other wise it works great!
