I've been seeing it more recently with people strafing in the air? Especially shotgun users.

Bunny hoppers used to be easy to deal with because when they jumped at you it was linear but now I am seeing people strafing?

Do you just do like in C1?

I am not aware of this strafing in the air. If it does exist, it is very minimal, or I just don't know how to do it, haha.

I think you're referring to when people's trajectory goes all strange when the server is laggy. It makes you pause in midair and slide around like crezzy

I actually saw this tonight. Looked like the guy did an air dash, a-la Megaman. I was both freaked out and a little peeved since he seemed to be able to do it consistently and kill me with it... and me without my recording software up. >:(
