How to perform different power attacks?

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 6:57 am

So how do I perform different power attacks with a dual wield sword/axe? I tried but the only powerattacks I get to do are a standing flurry(DUAL WIELD) and a heavy blow with one handed..

If you do a power attack while moving forwards, moving backwards or moving to the side it will be a different power attack, or should it, it is for 2-hander.

You said it yourself: the only power attacks you can do is the generic DW one and then the one-handed variants. There's only one power attack that incorporates both weapons and it always bars you from movement while doing it.

If that's the case, it isnt really helpfull to max out the one handed weapon tree. The top 3 skills are all for power attacks..(different ones)

Am I right?

I'd say yes... for the most part. When using two weapons you can still just swing one at a time which allows you to take advantage of the extra/bonuses to power attacks with one-handed weapons. If you use the dual wield power attack you just get the 'flurry' animation.

So I'd say they are still very useful even if you only get one dual wield power attack.
