I like to collect Quantum Nuka Cola and I want to be able to place it on shelves or work benches; how can I do this?

Was wondering the same thing. In FO3 you just clicked one of the thumb sticks and you could grab any item, carry it and place where you like. Have no idea how you can do this in or if you can do this in FO4....
