I'm a few days into the game, and a level 5. My Intelligence stat is at 6, and I would like to raise it. Because I cannot allocate leveling up skill points to my SPECIAL stats, is there any other way I can boost it above 6? I'd like to bring it to 8 or 9. Maybe permanent skill boost books, or something else? Thanks.

You can get a one time boost via implant



Other than that, only Intense Training boosts SPECIAL stats.
