About three times I've had some window pop up for a program update. When this happens the FO3 window closes and I cannot reopen it. It always happens when I haven't saved in at least 30 minutes too. The window doesn't truly minimize. It is a long narrow strip. I can still hear the game in the background. I've tried to maximize (no option for it) the window. I click on the tab and it tells me the game is already running. Any ideas how to reopen the window when this happens?

Have you tried Alt-Tab?

Yes I have. All I have is a "window" at the bottom of the screen about 1/2 cm high and runs the width of the screen. It forces me to shut off the game via the task manager so I can restart it. Thank you though! I'll keep searching for an answer.
