I just recently got to the 60k gold mark and I just have these shopkeepers on their knees begging for mercy. Just wondering how other people are holding up when it comes to making gold in this game.

Most of my gold is spent on smithing training.. It gets so much more expensive at higher lvls!

Oh and usually I'd have 15K + Now it's down to 2K.. cuz of the reason above..

93k. However I haven't trained once, don't own a horse and find my gear rather than purchase it.
I have got 3 houses though, but I would need them as I am a compulsive hoarder in games like these and always come back to sell / dump stuff as I reach my carry capacity. Which is a bit odd as in real life I freak out over clutter :mellow:

I never have more than 15k.

I have so much stuff I can't sell it all short of fast traveling to every city.

How do you guys make so much money? Is it just from not training through an entire playthrough?

Don't waste you money on training. Just buy/mine/make iron and leather strips and make Iron Daggers.

Plain and simple I just get my money from dungeon loot, and when I got access to Thieves Guild fences I realized most people liked to carry expensive jewelry in their pockets. And skill training is no problem for me as I easily make the money back in no time. I'm constantly cleaning merchants out and walking out of shops with a net gain.

Level 42 and its peaked at 70K. Right now I'm around 40K due to five levels of training in enchanting. Have three furnished houses.

Whenever I train in anything I just pickpocket my money back, including pickpocket training

I am getting close to 400k.

I never spend money, except on the houses. Since I bought all of them, money has just been piling up.

My amount of gold seems to stick between 90k and 110k.
