How do robots float?

I never promised I'd tell you just how they float, only what they were for.

Actually, you referred cryptically to an "explanation of eyebots" which in the context of this thread obviously referred to their method of propulsion, and not their purpose, which everyone knows. So if you have no clue how they float, you can just get down off your sodding high horse, can't you?

By the power of SCIENCE!

And that is the best answer! If I was the thread starter I'd ask for it to be closed =p Because this answer concludes the whole discussion.

Simply, if we knew how they float... the users of this forum would get a Noble prize in physics and we'd have floating radiobots all around ! :shocking:

How do robots float?

That's easy...

The ones that float have internal machinery designed to create an adjustable change in the robot's buoyancy; coupled with additional machinery to affect lateral and vertical movement ~along with the sensors needed to identify the robot's current position relative to the ground. :grad:
