How can I rotate the camera to see the front of my character's armor/appearance, etc?

You on PC, PS3, or 360? For the 360 hold LB and rotate using the right joystick. As for PC and PS3, I don't really know. Its probably the camera toggle button (that switches between 1st and 3rd person veiws).

Sorry for not clarifying, this is on the PC. The mouse wheel allows you to go between 1st and 3rd person views, cant figure out how to rotate to see the chracter from any other angle.

Ok, so I looked in the manual and it says F to change view. This also changes from 1st and 3rd person, but after some playing around, holding down F while moving the mouse allows you to rotate the camera. Thx for the tip about the change view key.

Or holding the scroller down, and move the mouse. That's how I do it. I think... Now you made me uncertain.

Aye, press and hold the F key while moving the mouse around with the RMB held, at least from memory.

A really good way to do this is to enter third person view, then press the tilde ( ~ ) key, type in tfc, press enter, then press the tilde key again. This allows you to use wsad to move the camera basically wherever the heck you want it to go. It's the great for screenshots that you want to include your character in.
Just remember, if you ever hit tilde and you want to get acheivements, you have to save, quit the game, and reload, or else you won't be able to unlock any acheivements.

Also typing ' tm ' (and pressing ) will remove the HUD information; Repeat to restore the HUD.

"tfc 1" will pause the game, ideal for trying to http://momaw.kikaimegami.com/action_screenshottery.jpg.
