I have i problem.

I have made a back up from my brink with my character.
A lvl 14 Character.
I made it because i heard so many problems.
And now my game crashed, so i thought, okay, i will uninstall in and then reinstall it.
But a friend of mine told my that if i do that, i don't have my character any more, and if i copy my old files i will have my character but the game will crash.
In which file are the saving files of my character?

I hope someone knows where i can find that.
