How to see Npc's ref ID?

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 1:53 pm

I decided to go for a renegade way at-first, later to find that I have difficulties doing so because there is not much to do once you kill everybody
I wiped out Good Springs very early in game along with the gangers and I regret doing so

So I had a plan to resurrect the whole town using console
but from Wiki I only found code for only 2 NPCs there

How will others? and must I use Ref code or Base Code for this command?
and is there a command for Faction reputation?

Thanks in advance.

you can get the id by opening the console and clicking on the model you want to resurrect.

You can also use the GECK to find the IDs.

Open the GECK, open the cell for Goodsprings (or if you know the NPC names find them in the list, take note the names aren't ALWAYS the way they are in the final game but that's pretty rare, Tabetha isn't called Tabetha there may be others that way too) select all the NPCs, write down their base ID#s and go to those, checking the "useage" stats to find where they are and then finding the refID for that useage.

It wasn't hard as expected though I will need to increase my reputation somehow to prevent Boone from chopping or picking their head off.
At least I got store guy (chet) back though
