so as the character levels, you start encountering higher level versions of enemies such as bandit thugs, bandit highwaymen, etc. in place of normal bandits.
i've found all the actor forms and how to set up the stats/loot etc. of all these higher level versions.
but i haven't found how the game chooses when to put them in, or what the chances of them spawning in place of a normal bandit, and how to manipulate those chances.
my goal is to set it so that after a certain level, the upgraded enemy will spawn in place of previous version every time. (maybe even a moderate chance of previous version spawning within a 5-10 level range, but 100 percent after that)
so that i can scale the difficulty of the game kind of like a step-ladder system, where the player improves crafting skills and gear to change simple foes from a challenging fight into a cakewalk, and then meets a new challange at designated intervals to repeat the process.
the current system tho, has the player half-asleep battling a bunch of level 1 minions (even endgame) that he could kill with his hands tied, only to die in 1 hit to that guy with the extra word at the end of his name that was hiding in the corner.
