I would love a more advanced destruction system than Bad Company 2, While BC2 does have it, it looks like puzzle pieces and it is TERRIBLY optimized for Dual Core processors. I get 15 - 25 fps in Bad Company 2 on medium simply because i have a Dual Core E6750. If Crysis 2 can enhance on what they already have implemented for the singleplayer, and get it to function correctly in the multiplayer, this will easily be a GOTY.
I would also like some more team based gamemodes, like Capture the Flag and Domination. Of course if Crytek can come up with another great gamemode like they have in the past (Power Struggle, Assault) i would absolutely love it.
As for killstreaks, i say a big fat no to them. They encourage camping, cheap gameplay that only benefits yourself and not the team. From playing the Medal of Honor Beta, i know this for a fact. When i go for those killstreaks i tend to become totally self centered and i will sit at a distance and pick people off, which has no benefit to my team whatsoever. The currency system that Crysis Wars currently has works perfectly. You get points for team based objectives and not just getting kills, and you can spend this currency on whatever you want. If you get 200P, you can either get a SCAR with a laser sight, 3 grenades, 2 claymores, an Anti Aircraft Tank, FY71, Precision Rifle (without scope), the choices for your own reward is endless and you have complete control over what playstyle you want to reward yourself with, and you think about how you can give that tactical edge to your team. Killstreaks are not the way to go, however the currency system we already have works just like a charm.
As for the server slots, I am fine with whatever Crytek chooses as long as it is a 8on8 or higher. I dont feel that having hundreds of players on one server is the way to go yet, because the technology to successfully support that just isnt there. Yeah, MAG did manage to get 128on128 in a single server, but they sacrificed graphics, gameplay, and content just to get that number. Maybe a decade from now the technology will exist where servers and clients can support 256 connections and have great graphics and gameplay, but today the technology simply does not exist. Smaller, tactical maps with 16 - 32 players is just fine.
