They're, um, decapitations. Sword slices neck, head falls off, and there's the usual blood splatter.

The only decapitations I get are from the sword perk. I dual wield and they are done "execution style"; both swords crossed at the neck and then pulled out to decapitate. Pretty cool if you ask me.

The best slow kill animation I've seen is one you get with 2h - you swipe your weapon low to break the enemy's leg then as he falls to his knees you smash his skull in.

decaps look awsome, the only finishing move worth watching really.

They don't look quite as awesome when you are the one getting decapitated.

The first time my guy did it i was all like WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually got slapped on the back of the head for shouting too many expletives.

Enemies doing finishers on your is already enough to watch. But you can be decapitated too? Watching my guy character lose his head may be bearable and kinda cool, but my sixy revealing chick character... painful lol.

I love it when you decap someone mid sentance and they carry on talking for a couple of seconds complete with facial animations lol.

the decapitations are nice. Ive seen maybe 3 or 4 different decapitation animations just with one handed sword. Everything from the simple sword stroke to the crossed swords execution style with the enemy on his knees

And btw, u have to pick a perk to be able to decapitate someone.

I saw the decap with 2H sword last night. I had forgotten I took the perk like 10 mins ago and then totally beheaded this damn mage in a crypt. I was utterly surprised and it was awesome.

Funny side note: I somehow forgot dragons were in the game (or just was not thinking about it enough, I had only fought two so far) and all of a sudden a huge shadow passes over me and I bout pissed myself when the dragons screeched ad landed in front of me.

I need to keep better track of what I am doing in-game...
