I was wondering how do you guys think the Firelance event happened? Like why did the alien crash over you and explode? What was it searching for on earth anyways? Was it the same type of alien as the crash site that leads to MZ?

My theory is that the ship was scouting or something when a Super-mutant with it's pissed-off-three-year-old-with-a-gun mentality decided to shoot it brining the ship down. As for the type of aliens they are I think they're the some king from Mother ship Zeta because of similar technology.
