How the hell are they gonna pull off fights with dragons?

New Engine= new ways to fight. My guess is one of two things. Either its similar to Oblivion where you help someone and they take down the dragon or You go one on one with the Dragon fighting it like a normal enemy (Watch out for the Fire unless your a Dunmer).

Let the grey wardens take care of it after you stab it in its wings

Quicktime events, obviously.

And thus every old school Elder Scrolls fan threw their copy of Skyrim in the trash in unison.

Strangely enough, I see this being the case though. Bethesda seems to want to show off their new animations (if the words "Player playing cool anims" for the crafting table are any indication), so what better way to show it off than by having a QTE of your player kicking ass?

That, or I see it acting like your standard combat affair, maybe with the dragon having a certain weak spot that you'll have to aim for.

Really you shouldn't worry about dragons, they only take like 3 hits ;)

Maybe there's an alchemical recipe for dragon's bane?

I hope that each dragon will require a different approach for fighting them. Maybe one would attack mostly form the air and you'd have to use ranged weapons/spells to take it down, another would be wingless and require a different strategy, and so on...

Hopefully they won't all be just copy&past fights.

And I also hope that they don't all look alike, I'd like to see one that looks like Smaug or Vermithrax Pejorative from Dragonslayer.
