How do the Thalmor view the Orcs?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 7:15 am

This came to me today and could not remember it coming up in the game anywhere, so does anyone have an answer?
I mean the Orcs are technically elves but they don't seem to mix well with the other Mer.

Dirty abominations, somewhere very low on the scale of inferior races. That is what I would think, atleast.

The Altmer certainly think pretty poorly of them.
They might consider them to be just a step above goblins, or acknowledge them as... "corrupted" mer, but either way I'm sure they don't like them.

Pity & Contempt

They basically think that the chief god of what would become the orsimer was forcefully corrupted by Boethiah. This cursed the Aldmer faithful to Trinimac into becoming Orcs.
Obviously, if they consider being a member of your race to be a curse, they don't like you very much. It's like if someone called me a "cursed American"

I'd love to see an Orc take on an Altmer one on one.
Go Orcs!

Through the stains of their underwear after an Orc pulled it up over their heads.

You know I actually think they might respect them in some ways. They tried to keep the Chimer from leaving and stayed true to Trinimac even after his corruption. They were faithful to the Altmer way of life right up until the end.

Hell I'd go so far as to say that if they could get the orcs on their side they would. When it comes down to it they are still Mer and they need the foot soldiers. I could even see them trying to turn Malacath back to what he was before if such a thing is even possible.

If they wanted the Orcs to join them they might give them some land in Valenwood and they would definitely require them to worship Trinimac again, but I could see it happening.

You'd like to see an orc blasted to smithereens with destruction spells? That's rather morbid.

Incidentally, it would be interesting to see what would happen if a community of orcs began worshipping Trinimac and living amoungst their fellow mer back in their homeland? I wonder if the taint of Padomay might leave them with centuries of persistance, but probably not, especially now with crystal-like-law partially demolished.

Unfavorably.

Vice versa, I'd say that the Orcs now feel a stronger kinship to Men, Cyrodils and Nords, at least.

Well, the orsimer like the empire, as they're the only faction willing to let them in and interact. The nords and orcs may share kinsmanship when it comes to war, but not that much otherwise.
