How is the type of bow and arrow set for Bound Bow?

Hi all - quick question: what determines the type of bow and arrow that appear when a PC casts the Bound Bow spell? I just tried it with my PC (archery at 100 fully perked, Conjuration at 100 fully perked, smithing at 82 but with just one perk point) and it looks like the bound bow is an ebony bow with Daedric arrows. I've got all kinds of arrows in inventory as well as a Dragonbone bow so how does the spell work? What appears when you are level one or two and conjuration, archery, smithing are all really low (less than 30)?

By the way, I've never used any bound weapons and it's pretty cool! I'll have to figure this into my next play-through somehow...

Thanks!

The bound bow always looks the same, and I think the arrows are always daedric quality. The mystic binding perk in Conjuration can increase the power as well as whatever archery perks you have. Smithing will have no effect.

I love the bound bow. In fact it is the only weapon my character uses. :twirl:

The only impact on what you get is whether you have the conjuration mystic binding perk. Without it you get a bound bow. With it you get a mystic bow. Both are identical in appearance (less the blue flamey bits) to a daedric bow but the mystic bow does more damage. The arrows are the same regardless; they look like and have the same damage as daedric arrows.
