How to be an ultimate sniper and never get killed

Post » Wed May 22, 2013 8:32 am

First get a good hiding place and make sure its some where high which will enables you to get a good view of the map.Second equip low profile retrierver and ordance alert make sure they have been leveled up to level 3. Third best gun to use for sniping is the DSG make sure it has silencer, sniper scope and a extended magazine.Third carry the AY69 as a secondary gun and make sure you have laser sight, silencer and forgrip for it.Fourth always change locations after every kill if possible or you will become an easy target. Finally the most important rule about sniping always aim for the HEAD if you don't have a clear shot on the enemys head do not take the shot or you will DIE................................DIE.............................DIE

why ay69 with laser for secondary?
i think maneuverability can be useful for getting on to high places and changing locations.
i haven't got ordnance alert to lvl3 yet, does it help much?

AY69 with laser will provide an accurate aim on enemies and you will notice when using laser sight with AY69 there will be not much recoil but without it that pistol moves up and down like hell and laser sight will help in hip fire because you won't have time to aim down side when enemies come close. Maneuverability hmmm.... i have tried some test i can still get to high places without it. The only differences is with maneuverability you can get there faster. And yeah ordnance alert is very helpful you will be able to see enemy fire and the direction its coming from and when your busy concentrating on a target ordnance alert will alert you if your in enemy's sight. So yeah its very helpful

Any decent player will already know the good sniping spots, thus you will most likely be discovered and die a few times. These are mostly common sense instructions but I guess it may help a few players. While I personally don't agree with your module or weapon choice, I'll say it's good options. It all depends on play style. However, I guess for beginners, this is a good model start.

lol i actually survived lots of matches without ever dying once i have been playing c3 for a long time now and using this tactics with a level 50 5 times rebooted suit what do you expect[I WILL SURVIVE]. Well i call it survival tactic and you call it ultimate camper its both the same thing but i do move around after killing a few people. I say its a good mixture for sniping the weapons and the suit modules but if you like to expose yourself in the game and get yourself killed easily USE THE GAUSS

That's how to be an extremely DEFENSIVE sniper, you're not going to get noticed but you're not going to be a killing machine either. Without Weapon Pro + Rapid Fire and with a suppressor attached, you're going to lose out on a lot of offensive capability.

The thing is, if you're playing on a low-ping server one fairly reliable way to get kills is...well, get people to notice you and shoot at you! If you're confident with your aiming ability and position yourself on the outer edges of the maps (avoid traveling through the middle unless you're pro with Reflex sight), it's very difficult to "flank" the outer positions. The enemy almost always tries their luck to either get close (and get shot on the way) or shooting from mid-long range, in which case you can simply headshot them. Some may even try to snipe you back, in which case it's your skill vs their skill.

Believe it or not, an enemy that's firing at you is a lot easier to headshot than an enemy who's ignoring you and busy running full-pelt to their destination with any number of walls/obstacles shielding them. While firing people will offer their nice squishy heads for you (they will always be in your sights) and only be moving as fast as A-D strafing allows them to.

Unless of course that enemy happens to have the Bow auto-aim turned on and knows how to exploit it, in which case you're basically screwed because they will be running + jumping at full maneuverability speeds while firing self-guiding arrows and being extremely difficult to headshot.

my fav sniper setup in c3 mp:
gauss rifle/sniper scope/extended clip + ay69/reflex/extended clip + maneuverability/surveillance/low profile or rapid fire
or
gauss rifle/sniper scope/extended clip + scar/reflex/muzzle break + auto armor/maneuverability/expanded arsenal :)

Op's class is basically the same as my trolly dsg class, with retriever, low profile, and phantom

Here's how to use a class like this properly:

1) use only on a big map, like central cavern, hydro dam, (pen depot actually works for this one), etc. Don't sit in obvious sniping spots! You will get countersniped or assassinated.

2) don't take shots that aren't headshots or cloaked shots if you can help it. As Xuvial says, if people notice they're being shot at, they're probably going to shoot back.

3) every time you kill 2 or 3 people MOVE. If you sit in the same place you increase the likelihood that someone is going to sneak up and gank your camping @ss to a certainty.

4) carefully collect killstreaks-- this class is dependent upon killstreaks, there's no denying it. Once you get max nano, pick up someone's AR and go stomp like 5 people if you can.

note: this class is mostly for joking around and having fun. It is (usually) not a really competitive class I would suggest to someone trying to help their team win.

HOWEVER
this class can be a great aid to your team if the enemy team has many camping snipers; anyone with decent aim can easily scythe through mounds of snipers with a DSG if those snipers are standing still/cloaked.

yah! my 1312 cents.
