I would like to understand how the game does certain things under the hood. Specifically related to how the Creation Engine and Havok Behavior 'talk' to each other. I would also like to be able to write SKSE plugins to alter the way the game does certain things. But I don't know exactly how to look for the things I need to know.
I understand the basics of assembly language and I am aware of some of the tools possibly required but I could use a few pointers about how to go about such an investigation, if someone would be kind enough to help me.
