A quick question I used Slow Fall for the first time today since starting a new game it's been about a year I think (and I never seem to progress all that far in the MQ) and I was wondering how do I control it.

Rather than float down when i walked off the edge of the throne room in Privateer's Hold i sort of just floated across the gap then came to rest above a statue on the opposite side. Do i use the keys that control levitate or is there something else?
