I heavily rely on crafting / modding I don't think I have bought a single weapon or piece of armor so far I only use vendors to barter for ammo

With the ability to scrap items from your inventory for crafting/modding materials, I know longer have vast collections of junk to sell to the vendors. I actually found that there was nothing the vendor had that I needed other than some rare crafting materials.
