I agree that they missed their standards. However, as a software developer myself, I know that the game WILL get better with patches. I won't appologize for them or defend them though. They promised it would be a PC game first. It was obviously designed with more emphasis on consoles than on the PC. That is not enough to completely ruin my experience though. I still enjoy multiplayer.
How can you be so sure that they will behave with some honor and loyalty now when they've already exhibited a near complete lack of both? I agree that a PC game shouldn't be automatically written off by labeling it a "port", but there's very little contemporary evidence that a dev will take the time to add the features that PC users want and need after the fact. Check out Bulletstorm if you want another example of what they they of us. I WOULD enjoy MP, it's got a LOT of potential, if the servers weren't overrun with cheating cowards.
