How well does Crysis 2 run on your rig?

Hi. First time playing a first person shooter since quake 4 so I figured I should give crysis a try and see what all the rave is about. I expected better performance out of my pc but the best I can get is 35-40 FPS in ultra at 1600x900 with DX-11 pack active. If I try 1920x1080 with the high res textures pack active my FPS drops to 25. I am running an i7 quad core at 2.66GHz, 12GB 1333MHz triple channel ram, Factory overclocked MSI GTX 460 with 1GBddr5, gigabyte USB-3R motherboard, win7 64, 120GB sata3 SSD. Is this normal performance? I get 18359 3dmark score on default settings.

Thanks
Al

I would say those scores are about right with the GTX460 being the limiting factor in this instance. I have a Core2Quad and a GTX460 1GB and get similar numbers. In the MP I run everything at high and 1920x1080 and stay pretty solid at a capped 40fps (except when an Orbital goes through Skyline :). In the SP I set everything maxxed and lower the resolution to 1360x768 to get a decent FPS.

Thanks for the replies. That link really helped. Going to pick up a 2nd msi gtx460 fermi cyclone and run in sli since I can get for around 130ish on ebay. A gtx560 or better is a bit out of my price range so I hope I am not wasting my cash on another 460.

Thanks
