I've read in a few places about the new friendship system that Beth is implementing in Skyrim where NPC's won't mind if you barge in their house in the middle of the night as long as you've done kind acts towards them. I've also read that at certain times these NPC's will follow and fight with you. I'm sure that it's just for a quest here and there but I would love the idea of anyone being able to follow you if they like you enough. Of course there would be limitations, you can't have story driven characters following you around constantly or something silly like that. Has anyone heard anything else about how companions will work in Skyrim?

There are numerous.....Followers or people who will go with you or something along those lines, but they aren't fleshed out(or there are very few) like those in NV and even less so from FO3, which wasn't much to begin with
