Perhaps huge mountains will block your way?

But then this begs the question; how does one enter Skyrim?

Through Moria of course.

I'm pro invisible walls due to the Modding reasons. (More content is win :P)

Invisible walls are fine. I am all for immersion, but jesus christ guys stop demanding [censored] things.

If you travel too far north, you'll run into Alduin's head (an immense wall of darkling scale, ominous rumbling sounds rising from it); too far east or west his flanks; too far south his tail.

I'd rather have an old dude in a grey cloak appear, and while tearing the ground asunder, scream 'YOU SHALL NOT PASS!'. If you clear the gap, through use of mods, then a hairy fellow who will be hard coded into the engine will advise you that 'THIS, IS (not) SKYRIM!!' and promptly kicks you back into the hole.

I'm happy with invisible walls. As long as it's similar to Oblivion and there's nothing of interest near the border then I'm fine. It's much easier for modding this way if you want to add another province or area.

I didn't mind oblivion walls at all. It's not like they put walls around water and stuff, they literally just put 4 invisible walls around the edge of the map. Not a big concern for me.

Why would you want to walk off the map for ever? There's nothing there, what purpose would this serve?

One does not simply walk into Skyrim?

I like the blizzard idea a lot...
Many expected this in Fallout 3; Ever increasing radiation (as was done in Wasteland).

I would like impassable mountains with guard stations at roads delving into the mountains into other provinces.

But, for modders' sake, probably invisible walls.
