Not saying I won't be using ranged spells (e.g. fireballs, frost), but I have never used bows before and it seems they will be the weapon of choice to force a dragon to land before you can hack it to pieces. So what's the go? Will dragon's land every now and then when they get tired of air bombing you with fire?
And I'm not sure why, in a land filled with aerial enemies, anyone with a realistic RP sense would NOT want to train in some kind of ranged weapon. That's literally ignoring the game world.

I'm going to throw flowers at them, then when the pollen makes them want to sneaze I'll run up and hold their noses, which will cause the breath attack to explode inside of them, thus killing them dead.
