How will you play?

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 12:26 am

When you drop into whatever prison your in at the beginning, how will you set out? Do the main quests? Do a guild? Or just walk through the wilderness? Smith some weopons or armor?

Play the main quest, then restart with a new character using mods for my "real" playthrough.

Start talking to people until I get a quest... Usualy it's from a guild such as the fighter's guild or the mage's guild. I don't do the main quest until much later in the game. Also I restart at leat 5 times to try differents charachters combinations.

Definitely. That is what I live for when I play an Elder Scrolls game.

Well I usually go for pure classes and tackle the guild quest lines, magic , stealth, fighter; very systematic.

Though I've been writing a lot, and this one character is dying to be played, so main quest.

But, I'll take my time. Proper training and preparation before every mission/assignment. Lots of enchanting, alchemy, and smithing. While training my alteration, illusion, conjuration, and one-handed blade skills to keep me alive.

I'm also in agreement with this. I do hope that I'm not going to be railroaded straight into the main quest. When I'm saved from execution, the words "come back when you have some experience of the world" would be music to my ears (please Bethesda, please, pretty please?....)

Same as Oblivion and Morrowind:
-Main Quest
-Side Quests
-Join a few guilds (all of them on the first character)
-Achievement Hunt =D
But that's just the first play through, the rest are going to be more immersive and RPish

I'm not sure what I'll do initially. The possibilities and options are a bit overwhelming, in a good way.

I'll do some exploring, do a little bandit hunting, make some money, join some guilds, slowly
get into the main quest, do a little thieving, and eventually do everything there is to be done
and create many characters.

I plan on ending the beginning part of the game and getting my feet set, then choosing a direction and following my feet. Some adventures have no true beginning.

I like that idea. I think I'll probably do that too, just to see what the game is about. I already know what character I'm going to use, but designing her features and her fanfic story for the fifth game will take a lot of time. All TES games for me are one giant story.

Roll some dice.

Pick a direction based on the result.

Set out.
