How will you start the game and why?

Post » Sat Jul 02, 2011 1:50 am

Back a year + ago my friend showed me oblivion. After playing it for a while, it was the best game that I have ever played and I was COMPLETELY addicited to the game. Then after I created about 10+ characters deciding what to do and replaying the same things over, the game got old. So how will you start the game and why do you do it that way (EX: exploring the world first then doing the mq or doing the mq first then exploring/ making a different char.) Which way will let me have the most fun and have a long play through for skyrim.

Do the first dungeon I find, then proceed to rush through the main quest. Then rinse and repeat with all of the factions.

Start assassinating peeps. -Mysterious hooded man watches from a distance. Take a second to look awesome time to go. Walk in slow motion so you still look awesome, guard just saw you and he's gonna shoot you. But don't mind him just keep looking awesome, that shadow will take care of him. WHITE!-

I role play a little bit, so what I do will depend on what happens during gameplay. I'll just go with the flow.

Brilliant!

I expect I will get the main quest started, probably not go too far into it at once, and do quite a bit of exploring. Doing these "odd job" activities, earning money and a bit of a rep. All the while getting better tools to dispense death to all who stand against me!

I'll explore first and begin to level up my sorcerer, Creates-As-He-Speaks. I imagine I'll go looking for necromancer or wizard dungeons, and will slaughter all magic users I come across in order to sap their power. I will head west and north first. Then, once I am in the tundra marsh, I'll fly east to the college of Winter's Hold and begin formal mage training. After gaining enough power, I will betray my colleagues to steal their magic. :chaos:

I'm going to the first dungeon i see. find two longswords [ossibly daggers and a good bow for my dunmer assassin. Then i will scour the map looking for powerful ingredients for potins and poisons silently stalking all of my enemies. Ill probably be more of a dungeon crawler.

Steal everything I can from the first town, get mad I can't find a fence, then wander off in a random direction while maybe talking to a few people.

Well, right after the tutorial in Oblivion, I stood for about 4 minutes taking in my first glimpses of the vast world outside the cluttered dungeon i had just escaped from. To this day I have a photographic memory of that exact moment in my game, the Ayleid ruins across the river from the dock in front of you, the slaughterfish hiding in the water right there, The two bandits at a campfire, as well as a ten with a sack full of health potions and a Hand to hand Skill Book.

Truthfully, within five minutes of playing Skyrim, I will likely start a second character. I really hope they give you the option to change your race/name at the end of the tutorial again, because i hat replaying the tutorial over and over again for all the new character I make.

I will get to the loading screen then have to go pee... Then as I start up again the cat will demand to be fed.. Then the bloodhound and freind will also want food.. Then my neice will want ramen noodles.. then ill need to go pee again.. THEN just as I start up someone will come to the door asking about alarn systems..THEN someone will call wanting to know if we need septic tank maintanence.. THEN there will be a great earthquake and the power will be out for a week. Then just as I get to the first rabbit and ready a fireball... The cat will need feeding.

I will find directions to the College of Winterhold as I will play a mage character first and so may as well join the appropriate guild.

After that I'll just take the game as it comes and do whatever feels natural to my character...

I am one hundred percent determined to make the long journey to the throat of the world. I shall climb the seven thousand steps as a level one character!

I foresee a lot of reloading and careful planning in my future :spotted owl:
