MP - So how is it? Worth trying?

I have always loved Crysis campaigns; I play them several times through and enjoy them every time. I really never tried the online MP options. I quit MP after Halo PC b/c of the cheaters and idiots, I preferred to just do campaign and me vs AI. Well that changed on MW3 and I got coerced back online into the MP group play and started having fun with a group that I have since followed to BO II MP. I like BO II MP, more importantly I like the people I play with and we just go and have a good time.

With that understood.......

How are the MP games for Crysis, more specifically the TDM scene? I only really care for TDM, so that would be what I would want to try out.

Are there a widespread abuse of cheaters or a mix of those idiots, good players and just people like me that just want to jump in and have a good time? Is it the normal mix like you find in BO II?

Are there clans and groups that normally hang out like in BO II - the normal people you seem to know game to game?

How is server matching or dedicated servers? Do you get grouped with people from the US, China, UK, Russia - or does it try to at least geographically keep you in your area mostly for better performance?

What about equalizing the playing field? Does this game try to find a common performance ground between those of us with massive rigs and huge internet pipes with those 4 year old machines and dial up connections? Or does this game understand, if you spent $5K+ on your rig, you should by all means have the leg up technically on those with >$1k machines? One of my largest and biggest gripes over BO II is this leveling BS going on, trying to make things equal - sorry but my rig is not equal to very many online FPS players, so don't downgrade me because someone is whining or hasn't built something comparable. You want equal - go get a console and leave PC gaming to the big boys. So how does this game handle this?

Last but not least, anyone know some good groups of players that do not cheat, that like to play legit, and just hang out and play more than do the "clan" thing?

Thanks, obviously considering giving Crysis MP a shot when time allows, just curious how Crysis MP was working and the various things I look for when considering gaming online. I appreciate your feedback.

It's amazing, fast paced but also involves enough strategy to keep those who still want to think while they play satisfied. Plenty of objective game modes (even though i notice you are mostly interested in tdm), and plenty of maps to keep yourself entertained.
