Yes Man conquered all of Tamriel.... using the Numidium. I don't get why any race thinks they are superior when they all have been proven wrong at some point.

To be fair, Tiber Septim only conquered Summerset with it. I believe the rest of the provinces were conquered conventionally, sans Morrowind.
Nope, all the others were added in by treaty, only skyrim, high rock, nibenay and partly hammerfell were conquered by warfare
Sure why not. Mai'q's Elsewyer vs Belethor's Skyrim. BATTLE OF THE TITANS
You are wise for a savage. How would you like to be my apprentice?
Those were slightly different circumstances, but a fair point nonetheless. However there is still the difficulty in actually establishing contact with them. They've minded their own business now for quite some time.
The Altmer never had intentions of conquering. They were always isolationists. Until they were conquered by a savage warlord and forced to worship him as a god... Well now look at them.
Well besides the first dominion in the second era but that was to make it so humans would stop waging war against each other.
Yea, now look at them. Recovering from a war they got decimated in. Not exactly proven superior when Mede II took the city back after fighting his way out, then fighting his way in...
Valenwood and Black Marsh too, and possibly Elsweyr.
To be fair they dragged the Imperial forces down with them so it wasn't a total failure.
Not proving superiority either, which was my point. It was far from a failure politically.
No, black marsh was added in by treaty as was Valenwood after Tiber weakened Alinor's power with Numidium and we actually don't know if Elsewyr was added in by military force or a treaty.
I'm not saying they are superior, i was mearly giving them fair judgment. Any race that thinks they are superior is doomed from the start. Arrogance is a one way street to failure.
and Nazeem's hammerfell
do you visit hammerfell very often? oh of course you dont. Ill have you know that theres no....
That is what I was talking about, however. Saying the same thing.
That wasn't my point. My point was their sudden violent approach to mankind. Yes, they were generally condescending. But the way the Thalmor are acting is completely unlike the Altmer. Conquering calls for change. This is a blatant contradiction of Anuic beliefs.
Going off of all this i think the second Great War is going to be the worst Tamriel has ever seen. Both sides were arrogant and they eded up kicking the crap out of one another. Nothing humbles a person like defeat as well as force them to see their own self worth. Both sides know this now so when they go to war again they will be trying their damnedist to win. It's going to be a brutal war between the Empire and the Dominion. I just hope it ends quickly.
Gaenor could wipe out half of Skyrim single-handedly...
...
Wow, it just occurred to me. The Ebony Warrior is like Skyrim's version of Gaenor! Both have supernatural stats. Both wear Ebony Armor, and both appeared as part of an expansion(dlc).
*cue crazy avatar theory round 5*
The Ebony Warrior is Ebonarm and Gaenor is Sai.
Did Shivering Isles add a supernatural npc comparable to Gaenor and the Ebony Warrior? The only thing I can think off the top of my head was your doppelganger in the Shivering Isles' MQ. And even then only if you had crazy stats and enchantments.
