How would you create a (Detect something) spell?

Post » Sat Jan 03, 2015 6:17 am

It's been a long day and I'm not currently at home to fiddle with the CK at the moment; Thought I would ask here first to get a jump on this please.

I'm looking to create a detect spell that would detect things other than NPC's. So maybe one to detect weapons or one to detct armor or misc items etc.. which would

show the appropriate shader for the duration of the spell. Thinking: weapons = blue shader, armor = red shader, misc items = green, Gold = yellow... or something like that.

I would use the detect life magic effect as a base, but I don't believe that works on non-npc's. Appriciate any help on this, thanks.

*mofakin* figured out how to do that. Search is currently broken.. I can't link you to the topic. So he'll have to explain.
