As most of you would hopefully agree, there is no person in the world who could survive the entirety of the storyline in a real life circumstance...and probably not very far at all to be honest, just based the sheer number of enemies and dangers. So...suspending disbelief and assuming that you just somehow replaced the Sole Survivor in Vault 111, how long would you make it before you were killed or succumbed to some kind of illness?

I would LIKE to think that I could maybe make it to Concord...if fortunes were in my favor and I didn't run into anything too daunting. Then I'd be immediately killed by either a Raider or our first Deathclaw friend.

In reality, I'd probably just blow my brains out with the 10mm after seeing how [censored] big those cockroaches are, never making it out of the Vault

I'd shoot myself on the spot once I got the 10mm pistol, 1 bullet through the roof of my mouth and I never have to worry about ghouls or Mirelurks. I can't imagine myself engaging a super mutant and coming out on top. Though if I did go through with it I imagine I would have managed to kill the radroaches and bloatflies, and then get killed by the raiders in concord

If I didn't die from radiation sickness first, I am sure I would be killed by a raider. I wouldn't even leave Sanctuary unless I had a well fitted squad with me.

Or...

Saying the wrong thing to the wrong person and getting a bullet in the face.

I would have stayed around sanctuary a bit longer but Concord is really just right down the street. Don't think I would have gone in the direction of the gun fire though and wouldn't have gone out in the open to start shooting either side. That is all of course if i wasn't eaten by a radroach. Most of us would probably be more like the annoying settlers who always need help.

Heh, I probably would end up being one of the raiders. And once somebody else rebuilt the Minutemen or the BOS caught up to me. I'd be one of the bosses killed in the fighting.

I would be SUPER sneaky, 'ninja like'. The only way to survive!

I would have stayed put at sanctuary and chilled out with Codsworth for the most part. Maybe dabble in some chems and possibly end up forcing myself to red rocket and Concord to scavenge supplies and run back to sanctuary lol

I probably would have become roach food trying to leave the vault. If I did manage to kill them I'd probably take one look outside and go back inside. I'd then figure out what giant cooked roach tasted like.

AH! I hate to admit it...but...GOOD IDEA!!

Stay in Sanctuary, get tripped out with Mama Murphy, pet Dogmeat, and try to enjoy the rest of my days as a wasteland junkie.

Hmm, altho I do have several years of military training, I wouldn't fancy my chances. Giant roaches is one thing, but when you see a huge mutated Jackson Chameleon coming for its dinner, I think I would either A) Panic and freeze, then die or B.) Panic and run, then die when it catches me But, since I spend most of my time in Recce, I would probably scout out the areas, and decide I would have no part of it, and try bunker down somewhere

If I somehow managed to get to diamond city alive... I'd probably never leave. I'd take jobs for caps or food where I could and that would be the sad tale of my existence. There is no way the real me would survive in the Wastelands.

I would have tripped as soon as I got out the Cryo Chamber and fell into a live wire or something... I have the bloody mess perk though, so at least you'll enjoy the view once ya find me!

That depends. Have all of my guns already been scavenged from my house, or are they still there and in working order?

That's a good point. Let's assume that anything not nailed down was taken away, kind of like in Sanctuary, but anything you kept hidden or in a safe is still there.

I would just stay in Vault 111, and somehow use it as a safe haven, only going outside to try and find some food. But since I would find codsworth really soon I could just stay at the Vault and ask Codsworth to go out to kill a lowbie animal and and some drinks to bring to me. I would ask him about the enviroment and other stuff before venturing further, but yeah, maybe I could survive a couple of days and weeks that way.

I don't think I could make it to diamond city though. I would be to terrified after looking at those giant insects everywhere.

Would gun stats apply? If not, when I come across the minigun, I'd tear everything up..because in real life one of those would be devastating to pretty much anything in the wastes, especially living creatures...should get me to diamond city, and of course take it over cuz I'd have the baddest gun around..and chill there and die of old age...
