So, as the title says, how would you feel about Mr. House's victory being the canonical ending for Fallout: New Vegas and further more, how would you feel his victory would impact the West?

My question is because Mr. House is a very intriguing ending, because though he wants NCR out of New Vegas, he does want a sort of alliance between the two. Were his victory canon, how would you feel about it and its potential impact?

I'd like it, not love it but since that was the only really positive one I guess I'll go with that.

I think it offers every faction a chance of survival and it allows Vegas to evolve into something on it's own rather than just 'another' NCR city or Legion's capital. NCR can do their own thing but have to halt their land grabbing for a while which means their economy could be damaged, which means that riots and a reform in government could lead to a much darker police state. And allowing Legion to continue their existence without NCR harassing them means that Lanius will be given time to change Legion into a empire in peace allowing them to change as well.

I think that Legion winning would be the coffin in the nail for NCR and kind of vice versa, allowing either of them to win means that their supernation can spread out faster and more violently and I don't want either of them to take over the entire western side of North America.

And I refuse to acknowledge Indpendency as a proper ending, [censored] anarchy 'again'? No thanks, I'd rather see humanity prosper than see them dwell around in the mud again. Cause it won't be long until the area will be a [censored]hole again.

So I would really like it if House was canon, offers for each of the major factions to grow differently.

I'd love it, because it'd offer the most interesting turn of events, as Gabriel pretty much pointed out.
